Cable & Connectors for BlimkM's

People have been asking about how to connect or chain the BlinkM's together. 1x4 ribbon cabble connectors are hard to find, even the 2x4 connectors are often out of stock.

I am now stocking flat cable and IDC (Insulation displacement connector) connectors that work great for connecting BlinkM's or other I2c components that use 4 conductors.

The do require an insertion tool to press the wire into the socket for proper termination. If you have one of the little Leviton tools left over from a Cat-5 project (The little plastic tool that comes with the Cat-5 sockets) These will work with a little knive work to make them thinner. If you will be assembling more than just a few connectors I am also stocking the recomended AMP T-handle tool.
